We pride ourselves on providing high-quality care without unnecessary tests or procedures. That's why we don't require X-rays or other diagnostic imaging for every patient who walks through our door. Instead, we rely on our expertise and training to determine whether imaging is necessary based on your symptoms and medical history. If we do determine that you need an X-ray or MRI, we have excellent relationships with diagnostic facilities and radiologists that allow us to provide you with the best possible care.

Our initial consultation will typically take around 30 minutes, although this depends on the complexity of your case. It's important to note that if we feel we cannot help you or if we uncover any additional concerns during our examination, we will gladly refer you to the appropriate healthcare provider and liaise with your general practitioner as needed.

At our clinic, your safety is our top priority. We take great care in investigating your case thoroughly before beginning any treatment. If we determine that chiropractic adjustments are not in your best interest, we will not hesitate to refer you to the appropriate medical professional. You can rest assured that we have your best interests in mind, and only want what is best for your health and wellbeing.
The short answer is NO. Treatment will begin on your second visit. On your first visit, our clinicians focus on conducting a detailed history and a thorough neurological examination to understand the root cause of your issue. Just as you wouldn’t expect to consult a specialist and have surgery on the same day, we dedicate this initial visit to fully assess your condition and determine the best approach for your care.
In some cases, additional tests, such as X-rays, may be necessary for further insights. However, we only recommend these when absolutely essential. Your safety and well-being are our top priorities, and we will ensure you fully understand the findings and the proposed treatment plan before moving forward with care on your second visit.
Chiropractic services are commonly covered by private health funds as part of their extras package. It's important to note that annual limits do apply, and the amount reimbursed can vary depending on your specific fund. To ensure you're aware of the exact details of your coverage, it's recommended that you check with your health fund. Additionally, patients referred by their general practitioner as part of a chronic disease management plan can claim a portion of their fees through Medicare, with up to 5 visits covered per year. Our clinic offers the convenience of on the spot electronic health fund rebates through HICAPS, making the claim process efficient and straightforward.
